Sunday Afternoon Tea Train to Tetley

Sunday Afternoon Tea Train to Tetley was inspired by the art of Rowland Emett and Peter Barnsfield, who's work Paul came across many years ago.

The concept came from an old Rowland Emett cartoon with the caption "Despite the severe depletion of equipment and rolling stock, the Company will do all in its power to resume meals on its trains.” It had a funny drawing of an old WW1 soup kitchen tacked onto the rear of a train with waiters scrambling along the sides of the train in an attempt to serve food and drinks. Paul attempted to replicate part of that here, while taking some style cues from Peter Barnsfield to create the train and countryside station.
